progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – Returning home for Eid, vehicle registration was suddenly blocked. Don’t be confused. That means you ignored the ETLE ticket confirmation letter for the odd-even rule during Eid 2024 which was sent by post.
As is known, during yesterday’s homecoming and returning traffic, the police implemented the odd-even (GaGe) rule. Drivers who violate will not be stopped or told to turn around. Still able to move on. However, there is an ETLE (Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement) camera monitoring and recording. This is where the offender is subject to sanctions.
Since last week it is known that the police have started sending ticket confirmation letters to GaGe violators during the 2024 Lebaran holiday period. Dirlantas of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Latif Usman revealed that the ticket confirmation letters were sent via PT Pos Indonesia to the driver’s address listed on the vehicle registration.
If you are one of the vehicle owners who received a ticket confirmation letter, don’t ignore it because there is a risk that your vehicle registration will be blocked.
To confirm an ETLE ticket, vehicle owners can do so via the ETLE page or come directly to the ETLE Law Enforcement Post. For this confirmation process, vehicle owners are given a time limit of up to 8 days from the time the violation occurs. If it is not taken care of, the STNK will automatically be blocked.
On the other hand, if confirmation has been made, the police officer will issue a ticket as well as a payment method via BRIVA for each violation that has been verified for law enforcement.
“So in essence, if there is no confirmation in 14 days, we will definitely block the STNK,” said Kombes Pol Latif Usman some time ago.
In the records of the Ditlantas of Polda Metro Jaya, during the 2024 Eid homecoming, there were 8,726 violations of GaGe rules on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road to the Kalikangkung toll road. (Bembo)
